Community Improvement
Our first pillar is community improvement. We are looking to utilize the proceeds of this program to complete various improvements, year to year, within the local community. Our Dragan was heavily involved in the local community, from sponsorships to donations, to supporting those who needed it, we hope to continue his legacy in the best way we can.
Local Cancer Research
Our second pillar is cause that is near and dear to our hearts. Many families around the Windsor-Essex County community are affected each year by cancer. It could be a loved one, coworker, friend, or acquaintance, and it is estimated that 2 in 5 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. We are proud to be doing our best in helping to find a cure and supporting families in the local community along the way.
Mental Health Education
Our final pillar is one that is extremely prevalent in the post-pandemic world. Since COVID-19, fewer Canadians report having excellent or very good mental health – 55% (July 2020) down from 68% (2019). That is almost 1 in 2 Canadians struggling with their mental health. We are proud to be supporting the CMHA in its efforts to bring accessible mental health treatment to Canadians.
